When anyone ever mentioned the Tower of London, my mind has created this picture of a tall, dreary, foreboding stone tower with lots of slit windows and the usual crenelated top. NOT SO. The Tower of london is actually a castle with a moat and everything else you would imagine. The bridge next to the Tower is known as Tower Bridge, and is probably one of the most iconic places in the world.It's over my shoulder in the picture. The Tower of London is in back of my other shoulder in the Picture. The view is down river.
