The trip to London is quite the marvel. Imagine getting on the train in Washington, DC and going to Boston. Easy! You can do that now, but on the Eurostar, part of that trip is under 22 miles of water, the English Channel. The Gare du Nord is the jumping off point in Paris, and St Pancras( or as Ann calls it St Pancreas) is the destination in London.
