What would a trip to Paris be without a little shopping? If you're Ann, it would be wasted! First a little stop at UBU for les bijoux. Around the corner in the Marais, we come upon l'eglise St Paul-St Louis. Inside, a beautiful white marble and granite church. The lantern crossing has a wonderful sun-burst in the highest dome. The altar is ringed with portraits. Back out on the street, it's a short walk to St Gervais, where, if things get too warm, you can take off your socks on a park bench in the little square in front of the church. Down into the Metro at Hotel de Ville and the trip is quite fast to Pyrenees for an afternoon break.
