Unquestionably the most recognizable place in the world is the Eifel Tower, and coming around the corner of the Trocadero this is what you see. The Trocadero is a large place with 2 curved buildings fronting the Seine. There is a wide esplanade with fountains down to the river, and you cross to stand under the Eifel Tower.
